The first process – called as “Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)” – this is where applicants provide necessary documents that are required to start the application. Documents like a police certificate that stating you have no criminal record and evidence of financial independency should be presented, along with non-refundable US$ 5,000 for Due Diligence fee. The FIU process generally takes around seven to ten days. Once approved, the applicant(s) will receive a letter of acceptance, and then the second process should be carried out. On this second process, the applicant must complete the application by submitting other documents such as medical certificate, a notarized or certified report declaring a minimal level of net worth, employment certificate (if applicable), letter of reference from your bank and some professional references. Additional supporting documents maybe required such as marriage certificates, birth certificates & passport copies.
